002 Core Audio w/ Itunes
I can get my core audio driver to play through my main outputs on my 002 and the headphone jack, but not out of my s/pdif ? Any ideas? Is there a setting somewhere I have overlooked?

Re: 002 Core Audio w/ Itunes
Exactly my question. I use my 002R mostly at home and have a stereo receiver with digital inputs. I'd like to route the DEFAULT output that Core Audio uses to be S/PDIF instead of analog 1-2 which I believe it is now. I know some applications let you choose the out you want, but others like iTunes have no controls to set the output.
I checked the AudioMidi setup program and some settings that looked promising for this were greyed out. I heard from a MOTU using friend that 10.3 Panther was going to make some new functionality available to do assignments like this, so I'm pretty sure it can be done. What about it digi? Thanks. -Casey |

Re: 002 Core Audio w/ Itunes
Can't be done at this time. Furthermore, SPDIF isn't an automatic mirror of the Main outputs anymore (like it was in the 001.)
My biggest complaint with my 002r by far, confirmed by Digi Support. Look for my thread on the subject. |
