Avid Audio Server Crashing

Hi, I have an issue with the Avid Audio Server core audio settings window. I want to use Logic Pro X for recording with my HDX interface. To reduce the buffer size I went to Audio/Midi Setup and when I right click on HDX and click on configure device a window should open where I can access the settings, but when I do so I get a message stating "Avidaudioerver quit unexpected". I have completely removed the HD driver and reinstalled the driver but I still get the same problem.
I have attached an image of the error page.

Hi, I'm not sure what would be causing that crash, but you're likely to get a much better response by posting your system info as described in the Help Us Help You link at the top of the page, as well as making sure you've followed all of the Optimization and Troubleshooting steps.
