Default Mac OS X Tiger Intel

Anyone tried to running PT with this?

Ops, supposed to be posted in the PC forum...but since it's OS X running/booting (no emulation) on a PC it's a little bit confusing.. sry..

what makes a mac a mac, is the OS, not the hardware. so, yea, you're in the right forum.

Well, depends how you see it

Just found out that there's no MacOS X x86 drivers for the hardware.

Had the opportunity to spend some quality golf time last weekend with a team leader of the "big iron" conversion to MacTel - a long-time friend. Rest assured, we'll all be blown away...and very happy!

That's what was said when they were talking about IBM processors for the G5.
De Ja Vu
It's all marketinging hype Motorola could not suply fatser G4's al la IBM and the G5.
Now it's the same thing with the G5 no faster clock speed's
... Still no 3 Ghz G5 as promosed my a Jobs speech in June 2003
So Steve put's his thinking cap and viola Intel!
The quest to sell sel sell.
New computers come out, then new OS's tht eat up more and more CPU RAM etc.
Then they put out a faster CPU and the cycle continues
at some point people are going to be sick of throwing money away for a liitle extra speed.
I am passed that about a year a go I am sticking with a G4 for now.
I am glad I passed on the whole G5 thing.
