PT 2024.3 - Mac Efficiency Cores In Play?
I checked today on my M3 Max MBP and it looks like Efficiency Cores are now being used in Pro Tools 2024.3 - can anyone else confirm?
I guess this makes M3 Pro MBPs a lot more attractive now, if the case....

Nice, and looks good seeing 16 Cores in the System Usage window.

Re: PT 2024.3 - Mac Efficiency Cores In Play?
Well... maybe, maybe not...
It has been claimed that the cores appearing on the meters are nothing more than a useless visualisation and nothing has changed under the hood. It's complicated and we still don't really know. All being discussed here - https://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=415900&page=5
