You did! And, ADC! And...from LE to 9.0 with exp pack...40% off the exp pack. Basic upgrad is $249...with exp pack $548.

Also says: Only compatible with Windows 7 & Mac OS 10.6.2 or higher

Which kinda makes me wonder how long before 64bit is incorporated as well.

Man, they kept this under wraps...I hadn't heard a peep!

Great news, all of them!
Hapiest on CPTK amnesty to CPTK2!

Most features are here because of the DUC'ers persistance, ... and AVIDs new way of life. Thanks All!

a question you might know the answer, if I buy the boxed version, do I still get to download it and have the key online? or should I have to wait for the box to arrive?
Thanks!
Rob

Boxed version will be delivery only, no download.
If you want to download, you would need to buy the download version instead (you can order the Pro Tools 9 Replacement Discs along with the download as an option)

Pro Tools 9 on the Avid Store

The "Pro Tools 9 Software (Full Version)" is the only one that is a shipped box only (no download), and includes an iLok

The "Pro Tools 9 Crossgrade from LE/M-Powered" or "Pro Tools HD 9 Software Upgrade" can be ordered as a download or a shipped box version. These do not include an iLok, you would use your existing iLok, or purchase an iLok separately.

Avid has turned the corner. All of the reminiscing over the passing Digidesign is gone for me. Avid has truly picked up the ball.

That's what it sounds like. It says "Work the way you want—with your favorite Avid audio interface, third-party Core Audio/ASIO interface (up to 32 channels supported), or standalone"
