How do I make my song into MP3?
Hey guys,
I cacn bounce the entire song as a WAV file. When I try to use dbPowerAmp to convert it into an MP3 the player says I do not have the codecs to play it. Please help? Where can I get these codecs and how do I add them to my computer? or DO i really need to buy more stuff?? Right now I am getting by by importing it into Cubase and exporting as MP3.

If you want to convert it through Protools you have to buy the MP3 converter for it, it's only $20. Or you can get a stand alone MP3 converter and do it that way. It's easier to just get the Protools coverter and just bounce to disk as MP3. You can go to Degidesign.com

MP3 Option would provide the ability to bounce to MP3 from within Pro Tools. There are other apps that could convert WAV, etc. to MP3, and some of them (like iTunes) are free.
