Default Protools 11 with VIDEO Satelite
Anyone got this to work?

Running MC 6.5 - no luck

Works fine with Protools 10.

You'll need to update mc. The satellite protocol changed in pt11 and isn't backwards compatible.

There´s a lot of info in the Read me files for PT11, regarding video sats. Actually, there are too many issues waiting to be sorted on the AVID side, according to the (extensive) list. Makes you wonder why they didn´t sorted it first before launch...

Satellite seems to be working fine between my 2 PT 11 hd systems.

Video Satelite not working in MC 7 - Not with Protools 10.3.6 or 11.

Satellite Link doesn't work when connnecting PT10 and PT11 systems together either. Hopefully an update will get that working, as we can't use it without being able to mix PT versions.

Avid - can we please get clarity on this - The readme says we need a patch for 6.5, which is nowhere to be found, 6.5.3 came out after Protools 11 and I upgraded from 6.0 to 6.5.3 (and 7) as surely those would have the patch - no such luck!

So is Protools 11 nnot going to be compatible with any Video Satelite?
