Hi

Im using Ozone4 and Im confused as to the best way to render out the final master track? Its in relation to the dither and bitrate in ozone and PT.
Since the project is in 24 bit in PT should ozone's dither be 16 0r 24 and in pref in PT should I also use the digidesign dighter 16 or 24 or should this be unchecked?

Leave the box checked in preferences. Select 16 bit if you are bouncing to disk and want to burn the final file onto an audio CD(you would bounce to 16 bit-44.1K and Stereo Interleaved. Don't use any other plugins AFTER the Ozone/dither(you could also leave Ozone set at 24 or none for dither, and insert a dither plugin in the last slot).

If it is your final master and will be going to CD after the bounce, set Ozone to 16 bit (and 44,100/16 in PT from the bounce menu). If you will be further modifying or mastering, leave it at 24 bit. No need to add the Digi dither if you use the Ozone dither.
