Default Constant -38 .vdb errors in 7.1cs10 w/BFD

I have gotten most of my problems sorted out. Right now I keep getting a -38.vdb error anytime I after I close a session that is running BFD. If I close a session and then try to open any other session, it won't open and I get the -38 .vdb error. This only happens after I use BFD. I have BFD 1.5.45 running on a g5 quad w/4.5GB of RAM with PTLE 7.1cs10. If I quit protools and then reopen it everything is fine. Any ideas?
