Why Oh Why do we not have a "edits are global" option or pref . ?

This would mean that when time is inserted to, or cut from the timeline, ALL tracks AND playlists whether active or inactive are effected . .

It's sooo boring working around this when riding the creative wave . .
Forever trying to leave a piece of string so one can find ones way back.

Please Avid can this option / pref come with 12.4.1 . . ?

Back at the ranch, the ALL group had no effect on playlists not in view or inactive tracks ( no imoji or sarcasm ).

Agreed. Enabling the ALL group and putting them all into Playlist mode isn't an acceptable workaround (although it works fine)

PT needs this feature for sure.
