Controller can\'t be found on printer port
I suspect the problem has to do with the fact that I've started using File Sharing to communicate between my ProTools computer (G3 266) and my iBook. Following File Sharing, when I start ProTools, I get an error message stating that the Printer Port is busy or used by another application even though everything I was previously doing has been quit. AppleTalk is inactive. File Sharing is off. I've even looked at the settings in both PT and OMS. Still, the software can't find the controller? The only thing that seems to help is to restart. There's got to be a better way.

Re: Controller can\'t be found on printer port
You can fileshare w/ TCP if both are system 9.x
Appletalk + OMS = problems
