Default Patch Libraries for AIR VI Expansion Pack

I asked the folks at AIR over on their website support forum when or if we might see some patch libraries coming from sound developers. Here's what I asked:
Quote:
Why are there no new sound banks for the AIR VI's out there..even for purchase? Why are no sound designers making new sounds with Hybrid3 or Vacuum Pro or Loom? Yes I know we can create our own sounds, and I do...but its really great to have additional sound banks available that are professionally done too. When I see all the many options available for, say, NI Kontakt5, I wonder why we don't have something comparable for Structure. Look at Nexus2 and Vanguard from reFX...plenty of extension sound banks to choose from for both and new ones being added all the time. Same for Alchemy from Camel Audio. I would think sound developers would be all over Loom, VP and Hybrid. What's the deal?
First reply I got said "Hello, we are presently working on this with a number of providers so stay tuned!" So I asked for a bit more detail.

Reply was

When working with Artists and Labels it can be contractually complicated. Most companies dont talk about new products and adons until they are ready. Rest assured lots of cool stuff on the way.
So, for those using the AIR VI IEP, or any of its individual VIs, it appears that there WILL be addtional patch libraries coming...but for which VIs, when or what, its "stay tuned..."

Intriguing,,

Most Air Vi's have great potentials,
way beyond what's being exploited from the Stock presets..

So yeah extra presets from serious pro's and not the Air user base,
could be a great time saver and a leap forward for these otherwise, great instruments!

Thanks for sharing this! )

That's kinda what I think, too. I mean, I've created lots of my own patches for some of the VI's...but, like you said, it'd be real nice to have some professionally done patch banks too. Not only saves time, but often can jump start an idea. I just don't get why AIR has been slow about this. Its been almost a year since they released the AIR IEP...you'd think there'd be several additional patch libraries available by now.

Yeah its true, they are slow in every aspect really..

Really slow in bug fixing too,

There is a known and proven bug on strike which renders the half of the instrument useless. (at least on win)
Where the browser keeps jumping on top whenever one tries to select a kit from the bottom of the list..
It's been proven and logged from Air, 3months+ now..
But still no fix,

I guess they were too busy making "The Riser"
