Maschine (Mikro mk2) and pro tools first

here's what I was able to find on the web...

"Some plug-ins installed manually (outside of Marketplace) will work with Pro Tools | First, but most plug-ins will remain hidden and unavailable at launch."

I see Maschine 2 aax in the avid plug ins folder.. it does show up for me in logic x so it works. Do I assume correctly that this is a limitation with PT First and that upon upgrade Maschine 2 will be available to me?
