Can't Record and Playback?

I'm using ASIO4ALL as my "Peripheral." This is my first time using Pro Tools so I need assistance. I have two devices Blue Snowball (mic) and my default Mic on my laptop. When I choose blue snowball I can record but can't playback. When I choose my playback device I can hear but can't record. How can I select both :S

Not sure if you can Traditionally, you select the "audio engine" that has input AND output Until someone has a better idea, I recommend a real audio interface with ins AND outs(and a "normal" mic). For a tight budget, the AT2020, AT2025 and MXL V89 are all worth a look. Or maybe record in a different program9Reaper?) and import the audio into Pro Tools(with your working output) for editing/mixing

Are you maybe forgetting to change the input monitoring to listen back, or just disarm to listen to the track.

If, after recording, you keep your track record armed and your input monitoring switched on, you can't listen to your recording.
