Default MIDI keyboard not working & no HUI

I was Using Pro Tools 8 on Windows 7 with MBox 2 Mini, Novation ZeRO SL Mk II and Casio WK-3800 keyboard, Everything was fine. Then I updated to PT 10 which is currently installed to a eSATA external hard drive and got problems.

No HUI is displayed in the MIDI Controller tab of Peripherals and my MIDI keyboard does not work. I have tried installing PT 10 to C drive, this did not solve the problems.

Talking Re: MIDI keyboard not working & no HUI

I remember reading about a legacy driver installer for hui a while back. Might be worth a search..perhaps PT10 doesn't install hui as standard any more. I'm sure there is an installer on the avid site (if you can find it!)

Default Re: MIDI keyboard not working & no HUI

First off, Pro Tools should always be installed on the C: drive. That might be the entire issue but I can't be certain.

These 2 items should be disabled when running Pro Tools:
Network Adapter : Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network) #4 (Ethernet)
Wireless Adapter : Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (802.11g (ERP), WEP n-bit, 54Mbps)
