Digi hasn\'t approved new G4\'s. Apple however...
Well I can't get any answers on whether to take the plunge on the new G4 1.25 dual. Guess I'm going to jump in tomorrow and bite the bullet and hope for the best.
I did find this on Apple's site> http://www.apple.com/powermac/expansion.html Its a description of the new G4's expansion with a big'ol Pro-Tools advertisement on the right side-bar. They must have had PT in mind with this new model. Fingers crossed.

The article on apple's site mentions it's newest g4 as a good match for the 002, HD, and mix systems. Notice the obvious 001 omission...Many have posted about DP Mirror Door G4/Digi001 incompatibility, others seem to have good luck. I'm sure the good folks designing both the hardware and software involved are hard at work fixing this, as it's definately in their best interest.
