I have two Pro Tools licenses--one is Pro Tools Studio and the other Pro Tools Ultimate; my Studio license still has a current update plan; my Ultimate update plan expired on December 30. Only the Studio plan when I log in to my Avid account shows the 2023.12.1 download as available. So that implies that the 2023.12.1 plan has a 2024 date and would not be available for update plans that expired late December.

I just explained take a look at PT compatibility chart why Avid is finally nailing it

(
2022.10 is actually 2022.09.1, 2022.07 is actually 2022.06.01, 2022.04 is actually 2022.03 delayed by 1mth and 2022.05 is a 2022.03.1... and so on.

The Windows installer .zip of Pro Tools 2023.12.1 is corrupted......

I downloaded it from the official Avid site several times.

What do I do now?

The nice thing about having a backup rig is, you can try updates on the side. And indeed, the Windows zip file is apparently “empty.”

Windows zip files require shorter file names.

I don't have an installer right now.... I mean a backup, I'd need to go back all the way to 2022 then.... It's the only one I have on backup and I need actually post 2023.12 at least for Atmos.

Avid could at least give access to 2023.12 still via a Link under my products.
