Default Copy and paste issue
I saw some other posts about this elsewhere. Basically, after a few copy/pastes, the shortcut stops working and I have to reboot Pro Tools to get it back again. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I am on version 2023.12.0 (Artist).

Are you holding down the modifier key (not sure if you’re on Mac or PC) or just C and V? Are you sure it’s not keyboard command focus if that’s the case? Option Command 1 (Mac) and that should fix it hopefully!

On Windows just Ctrl C or V.
I haven't heard of the keyboard command focus before. I'll look into that.

On my Win sometimes modifier keys like Alt etc get stuck... Try hitting Ctrl a few times to get PT to realize they are still there :)

Sometimes I have to open and close Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Centre to get my custom mouse settings to be recognised, but if you're just using vanilla windows cut and paste I'm not sure what the solution is.
A stuck key like Schottlandru says is a definite possibility. I replaced a keyboard last week for that very reason.

Best Windows mouse driver I've found is X-Mouse Button Control - and it's free.
