digidesign databases folder
I'm surprised I couldn't find a previous post on this issue, but...
Is there a way to stop PT from creating a "digidesign databases" folder on connected external drives? I'm speaking of drives that are not being used for recording eg. a flash drive that i use to transfer non PT related files. Whenever I connect my flash drive, I can't eject it from the finder without quitting PT. pretty annoying in the middle of a project. Can this behavior be avoided? thanks. |

Re: digidesign databases folder
In the Workspace, you can unmount (eject) any drive while Pro Tools is still running.
There's no way I know of to prevent PT from installing the databases on every mounted drive.
