PThd 11 won't shut down?

Sorry if this has been previously addressed.

Been spending some hours working in trial version

System is late 2011 MacBook Pro with Thunderbolt Display. Hd native card in owc thunderbolt box.

Dual installed with 10.3.6

After closing session, pro tools sometimes not wanting to quit. Mbp also won't restart. I am having to hold down power button to shut computer down.

Just wondering if anyone is seeing this?

I have not upgraded pthd11 past 11.0

Are you on 10.8.4?

Do you have an external hard drive for your sessions?

Have you repaired permissions?

Have you done any troubleshooting like Avid suggests?

yes I have used the repair permissions utility.

Yes i am using an external hd

Yes os is 10.8.4

I have also done some troubleshooting, not seeing this behavior on 10.3.6 co-install

I have done some general trouble shooting and am thinking that it might be plug in related, I will try to do the process of elimination thing with plug in folders.
