Use subscription on more than one PC?
I just upgraded from Intro to Artist. I got everything working on my mobile setup (i.e. laptop), and when I went to use it on my main setup I could not activate the license.
What gives? Can I only activate it on one machine? Did it say that somewhere? How can I use my subscription on two machine? Edit: I think I got it. I had to close the cloud session first...right?

Artist appears to the same. I am okay trying out cloud licensing for right now.
But if it causes me problems I guess I will look into getting the physical key. The only one I have is the old timey style.

Gotcha, be careful that interruptions to your internet access will cause Pro Tools to stop working, as will the occasional scheduled and unscheduled hiccups at iLok.
(edit and I deleted my post before, did not mean to leak some info in the screenshot). edit: And yes you need to close the cloud session to move to another system. |
