Default mixing down to an external cd recorder...

...by sending digital data via optical cable from 002 rack...?
Hello everyone, this is my first post...I have been following this forum for quite a while, ever since I purchased my Mbox...never had to ask any question though, but this is a really nice community..
a couple of days ago I swapped my Mbox for a DIGI002 (Digidesign guys, thanks a million for making this deal possible!)...and now I have a little problem..
I will first tell you what I use..it's not that important, but hey, my girlfriend doesn't care about this, so I have to find someone who will share my happiness
so, here it goes...
Windows XP PC, 1,6 GHz, 768 RAM, etc blah blah blah, ALESIS RA 150 amplifier for the Tannoy reveal speakers, DIGI 002 rack, Lexicon MX 550, Rocktron Chameleon guitar preamp, Behringer Virtuallizer Pro and Behringer UB1204 -PRO mixer...and a PHILIPS cd-rw device...
so, here's the question..I set my cd recorder to digital in, and then it's waiting for the digital data to come in...when I press play in Pro Tools, nothing happens, the cd recorder just blinks 'start source'...obviously the problem is the sync mode, i have searched the forum, searched the answer database, but I couldn't find anything that would solve it...I am sure it's just a click away...guys, please help...
p.s.
by the way, off topic, is there any way to buy Digidesign T-shirts?

Sorry - I only half read your post. Too dense. But you may need to mirror your Outputs 1-2 so that the signal will go to spdif outs. This is in the mnaual under mirroring. You may also have to change in setups your Hardware I/O to optical instead of ADAT.
