Default How do I move a track back a couple a second

Or a millisecond..The reason why I ask is because for recording acoustic guitar, to make it more full sounding without recording it twice, I was going to go through an AUX channel and buss them to 2 seperate audio tracks, and to make it sound fuller, move one of the tracks back like half a second..Let me know the best way to do this...Thank you

Nudge ?
Although IMO "half a second" is quite a delay, if you're aiming for "fuller" sonics !
Try the 10-30ms range, possibly a time modulated delay or chorus..

happy tooling,

Just grab it and move it back.

Turn off the "snap to grid" function so that you can slide it easily. Otherwise, change the quantize to something like 64 so it slides.

I didn't even think of this...Wow...So easy...Obviously I'm still a beginer...So a half a second would be too much to make it full sounding? 10 ms-30 ms? I will try this...

Stoneroses63,
The definition of "full" can be interpreted a few different ways.
A single, well played and recorded performance can sound full.
A double tracked guitar is also full sounding, if the production calls for it.
The method I've outlined above is often used to "spread" the image out, so that would be considered to be fuller, as well..
Experiment..
happy tooling,
