Default PT 9 Install fresh system

Had to reinstall Mac OS X for various reasons.

Anyway I am re-installing Pro Tools, I didn't install from the 9.0.2 full installers, I just installed from the 9 discs (did not know there was .0.2 installer).

Can I just use the 9.0.3 updater from 9.0? Or do I need to update to 9.0.2 somehow then apply 9..0.3 updater?

Thanks!

I believe I did a straight 9 to 9.0.3 update.

It would seem like I could from the terminology next to the update, but I am just making sure before I go for it.

Thanks, just did and it "works."

But now I am having a bunch of issues which I did not have previously.

When I go to switch my hardware playback, it froze and I was forced to quit the app and now when I go to start it up it hangs when loading XPand!

Not sure what to do at this point.

Have you tried trashing prefs and databases? Got any plugins that may need an update?

Pro Tools is the first thing I have installed, so no pllugs in there yet.

Trashing the prefs helped not stall on Xpand!.

But still having an issue chaning the hardware playback device
