RussUK: I'm checking your blog a few time an didn't find anything there yet. Am I looking at the right place? Where should I be looking?

Sorry bud it all went Pete Tong. The DVD on my second MB Pro is screwed and you CANNOT install SL from a disc image. It wouldn't play ball trying to use remote install and my 3rd Mac is none-Intel which means SL won't play nice with it. So watch this space... sorry for the hope up.

That's cool RussUK. I do respect you perspective which is why I wanted to hear your take of PT8 on Snow Leopard.

Upgraded to Snow Leopard today.

All working fine. Tested 3 sessions full of Plug-ins and VI's - all cool.

I'm happier on 10.6 that I was on 10.5.8.

For me 10.5.6 was great but 10.5.8 caused me a few problems and thus I made the jump to Snow Leopard and I'm glad I did.

Now when I do a repair or verify permissions I don't get a continual list like on 10.5.8!

Things are looking up for Mac users - a version of Pro Tools that works on two operating systems!

......while on PC Win XP can run every version of Pro Tools!

Default Structure Bug

On 2.16 GHz Macbook with Mbox 2 there's a bug with Structure (PTLE 8 cs3) and 10.6. The plugin interface is exhibiting bright colours, flashing text but once you can get past all of this - not easy - it does appear to work.
Clearly a bug though just for everyones info.
