Computer takes to long to save / open session
Lately, the first time I save a session and open a new one after starting pro tools, my hard drive runs constantly for about 2 minutes before the new session opens. I have no idea what it's doing. It's very fast after that, unless I wait more than an hour or so, then it takes forever again.
Any advice? I'm using Windows XP with PT 7.3 |

Re: Computer takes to long to save / open session
Do you have the Open Ended Record Allocation preference set to a specific value? Or just "Use all available space"?

Re: Computer takes to long to save / open session
It was open-ended and I changed it to 45 minutes, but that did not help
