Did you select the S/pdif inputs as the inputs to the tracks?

Yup, I create a new audio track, go to hardware set up, change the clock to s/pdif. Iv even tried doing the formate as Tascam and switch it to other and I get nothing. Make the input on the track s/pdif and record enable the track. I hit play on the dat machine and record in the transport window...and I get nothing. Iv hooked up several differnt decks, 2 track Reel, Dat, and a mixdown cassette deck...nothing.
