Does PT LE have a Control Surface Assignment mode?
Does PT LE have a mode that lets you assign a screen item (fader, etc.) to a midi control... ie, change mode-pick screen fader-move midi control-change mode.
Also, do the characteristics of a midi controller get stored on a session by session basis, or is there a global setting that retains these controls. Tim |

Re: Does PT LE have a Control Surface Assignment mode?
no, you need a controller that PT understands. i don't use a controller so i don't have the lingo down, but if you go to setups > peripherals, you'll see a list of controllers that will work. lots of others will work with some kind of emulation (mostly hui emulation). check your controller's manual to see if it will work with PTLE and how to set it up.
