Default Pro Tools with MOTU 828

I have a MOTU 828 audio interface (the first model). Anybody know if its compatible with Pro Tools? Thanks!

I am running an original 828 on a PT 9 setup at home, and seems to be rock solid.

I don't have another non Avid interface to test out agregate I/O, but I would imagine that would be fine as well.

Great news, thanks. Are you using the regular Motu audio interface software? ( I forget what that's called)

As long as you have core audio drivers for your OS your good to go.

I have an 828mk3 hybrid and zero issues, Pro Tools worked out of the box.

man, this is good news. I'm taking my first baby steps to Pro Tools after years with DP and Logic (will be using them in different situations) and it's good to know I don't have to reinvent the wheel as far as hardware goes...

thanks all!

From the Motu downloads section, latest driver info:

Quote:
Supported legacy MOTU products include the 1224, 1296, 2408, 2408mkII, 24i, 308, 828, 828mkII, 896, 896HD, Traveler, and the UltraLite.
Should be a breeze.
