individually cancel Preview on a track
Maybe I'm the last one to notice this, but I think it's undocumented:
In Preview mode, if you accidentally touch something you didn't want to preview, you can cmd-click on the green on that track and cancel the Preview for that track alone. Very cool. When I used to make this mistake, I used to have to either exit Preview, or commit and remember what to undo manually. ok, back to work...

Well that explains it. I only read the first 1,020 pages and the keyboard shortcuts.
