transposing structure parts without actually transposing them
title is confusing i know
the problem i am having is that i am trying to create my own preset using structure le, when i introduce drum parts i want to have them so they are on different key/drum pads. the problem i am having is that the samples i am bringing in are at a high key and when i try to put them on C2 for instance they are very low sounding i can easily put them up a couple of octaves but then when i try to single that key out for that sound the rest of the keys are blacked out and the "C2" key plays the same very low sample. using fine pitch doesnt sort the problem. is there anything i am doing wrong???? i dont want to transpose my keyboard as this means i will have to change the whole preset on the controller for the drum pads, is there an easy solution to this problem. any suggestions will be most appreciated. thanks cal |
