Custom Options for Music Production Toolkit

I would like to make a suggestion to Avid that the MPTK be sold as a standard expansion package only with the ability to then add a custom bundle from a choice of plugins (downloadable obviously).

I have an Eleven Rack and I don't need Eleven LE, but I would like DINR LE, which was included in the 1st version of the MPTK.

Did nobody think of the Eleven Rack when they updated the MPTK?

Put an ad in the Buy and Sell section here on the DUC stating your looking to trade an Eleven LE for a DINR and I'm sure someone will bite.

Unless I'm mistaken the MPTK2 was released well before the Eleven Rack. Even knowing about the impending 11R, it made sense to include it with the toolkit as enticement for people with the original MPTK to upgrade. It def worked on me.

The Music Toolkit 2 was announced about a year before 11Rack came out, so it was definitely a good thing for a lot of people to have eleven plugin.

As far as DINR goes, there are many other 3rd party noise reduction plugins that work much better, but they do cost some money. The cheapest that works as a plugin would probably be Bias Soundsoap 2 ($99).

I use both the Plug and the 11R and think its a great combo. I can have a lot of instances of the plug but only one 11R.
