Default 888/16 sound quality?

Hi all

Anyone got any thoughts on the sound of the original 16 (or rather 18) bit 888 interface's ADs and DAs?

I was thinking of moving up to a 20bit RME ADI-1 and was wondering whether it was worth it.

Also, digi - are there any *detailed* tech specs on the 888/16 available? I was looking for jitter figures etc.

thanks - jon

I'll say quite frankly, avoid the 882/16. It has quite a noticable noise floor.
