Default Help find small sliver regions

I could use any suggestions in how to locate the small little "sliver" regions that can be created when you ad space to a exsisitng region and then consolidate.
The project I'm working on cannot see any additional regions, other wise it assigns a name to it, and thinks it's the proper audio for the sequence.
Any additional small regions that you can barely see really throughs a wrench into the whole thing.
The files sometimes needs a little dead air to make them a minium 2 seconds in lenght, so I have to spead a ton of time adding in an addition small region.
Thus , when you go to consolidate the two, you may not of grabbed the entire two regions, creating a extra "sliver"
I'd really appreciate any insight about this.
Thanks

Hi.

I'm not sure what you're asking here......but, you can Control-tab to select next region and Control-Option-tab to select the previous region in the timeline.

How are you consolidating? If all you want to do is add silence to the end of a region and make it a whole file, highlight the region, then highlight the amount of space you want to add (you can even input a certian value like 2 secs) then use opt+shift+3 to consolidate selected. You can then name the file whatever you like, and don't have any extra regions on the track, as your consolidated region will replace what was there leaving the original in the bin. I think this sounds like what your trying to do, so hope it helps.
Peace
Kelsey
