Default OT: Replacement G5 power supply ?

The demons have struck my main studio G5 powermac, right in the middle of a job. Looks like the power supply is dead.

I've found a kind soul that will fix it on a Sunday, but we're not sure if the spare G5 power supply available on the shelf is compatible.

Does anyone know, if (for instance) the power supply from a Dual 1.8, will fit a Dual 2.5 model? Or did each model revision have it's own power supply?

thanks

I don't think your computer is covered, but have a look at this Apple warranty extension program for G5 power supplies..

This is the way Apple has been acknowledging widespread hardware issues lately without doing recalls.
