I used MD3 and Brickwall Limiter with my Logic Native rig and 4 PowerCore's and it was great. I also used MasterX5 on most of my busses before putting MD3 and Brickwall Limiter on the Master Bus. MD3 and Brickwall limiter gave me amazing results. However, when I upgraded to my Pro Tools HD Accel setup, the detail in Digidesign's 48bit Master Bus was an amazing improvement over my native rig which had a "smeared" high-end sound. With Pro Tools and MD3 and Brickwall Limiter TDM the sound is amazing. It's only a 4 band parametric with 3 bands of compression but it gives a nice "analog" type sound to me. I also have Steve Massey's L2007 Mastering Limiter that sounds amazing also. However, it's only single band which makes it great for stereo busses. I've also tried Wave's L3 single band and multiband and they are great on some things also but to me MD3 and Brickwall Limiter give you great results quite easily. MD3 is quite pricey but the results are worth it!! Also, I believe TC will be adding an additional band as the did in the System 6000 i.e. MD4 must be just aroung the corner.

i can't see doing biz with TC...they did not honor the plugins i originally invested in with them in earlier PT days....

when my sears dishwasher melted i stopped doing business with them when they made me dance thru hoops to get a new one to replace the manufacture problems.

at a certain point it doesn't matter how good something is if they company treats you badly

then a gain i have the WAVEs platinum bundle...somebody pimp slap me.

Same here! No TC for me anymore. TC Intonator, TC Voicestrip, TC Master X3 +5, TC Works (3 plugins) all down the drain in a few years and not a single gesture from TC for an upgrade path for their customers when buying new plugins.

These days, TC Tools and Waves are the only two companies on my do-not-buy blacklist. Given the track record, I'd strongly urge you to explore other options.

We all know that software is an intangible product. TC Tools takes the intangibility to new heights. Poof, and it's gone forever.

I'm afraid you can add me to the list too. I would love to get MD3 but for now I'm still hanging on to my trusty old finalizer. If over time they start supporting TDM plugs properly I would get one.

I have recently contacted them and there are no plans for MD4 go TDM or powercore.
I was informed I could upgrade my MAster X (3+5)[Mix systems] to the latest version of MAster X 3 for HD.
