VCA Faders Not Controlling Volume
Ok so here's the deal I can't get the VCA faders to control the volume of the assigned mix groups. They will control the mute, and solo functions as they should, but then you move the fader up and down no change in the volume. I have tried re-installing pro tools, and no change and I have gone through the preference settings and as far as I can tell I'm doing everything right. Has anyone had this problem or can anyone offer any suggestions? I'm using PT 7.2HD on a Mac Dual 2.0 OS X 10.4.8 Thanks.

Hi,
If you have the group activated and you move one of the faders, do they all move? They should do, if not then you could have fader automation disabled in the automation window! but a reinstall of PT would have reverted that back to default-on? Chris
