final additions/plug-ins to stereo mix?
I've tracked all my stuff, and applied eq/effects to the individual tracks. Now I'm mixing...I have created 2 master faders that I bounce to disk. What effects (if any) do you put over the final mix? I know some people who like to put a 'wash' over the entire mix, I tried it and it sounds pretty good. I'm using an UltraMaximizer as my mastering plug-in, but am wondering if anything else would help.
I'm just wondering what you all put on your final stereo mix (if anything). |

Re: final additions/plug-ins to stereo mix?
Sonoma, when I used to master in PT I sometimes used the Waves C4 and S1, but always the L1. This days I dont master in PTs anymore. I currently master in T-Racks and my mixes have finally improved to the level I was searching for.
Good Luck.
