Default Question For Brent

I would love an answer for this question from Digidesign to fully understand the entire process of recording my final mix in real time within Pro Tools LE and then how to burn that audio file to CD without truncating 24 bit files.

I am again using the Waves L1+ to dither my master fader output to 16 bits and then bussing it to a new stereo track to record the final mix instead of Bounce to Disk which yeilds poor results in my opinion.

That is a good article...
My next question would be: What about plugs?
I believe there is a choice in Pro Tools (plugs and stuff), whether or not to apply dither? I saw it while mixing (far from mix-down), asking to use dither or not...
What about then? Should you choose to not use dither in this circumstance? Or is it talking about dithering down from internal plug-in resolution, to the session bit-rate?
BTW, another great source for this info is Bob Katz site "Digital Domain" (www.digido.com; I think...). Prepare for a deep read though...
