Pro Tools & Reason
I have an MBox Mini and my brother showed me Reason 3.0 which seemed pretty good for drum sounds etc. What i was wondering is:
does it work without haveing firewire connections? Am i right, is it good for drum sounds etc? Is there something better?, beaing in mind im a bit poor. Any help would be great. thanks. |

i heared a rumor that God uses reason for writing, arranging and producing...sometimes he has st. peter trigger RDK 2.0 drum sounds from his v-drum kit...
on a dell laptop...rewired into nuendo. detroitkruk

reason has good electronic kits but lacks in real drum sounds. With some creativity and skill you should be able to get a semi convincing performance out of it. When installing reason, it will add a rewire asset, and will show as a plugin under digidesign plugs. A usb connection is fine for your interface. better is ez drummer best is BFD2 right now, but thats 400 bucks.
