Close. You'd also Buss the Output of the Audio Output selector of an Instrument track (remember you have two sets of I/O's on an Instrument track) to the Input of the Audio track, making sure that the Buss matches.

Exporting an SMF, you'd simply highlight either the MIDI Data in the Reason Sequencer or track select and then go File>Export. Export the SMF into your current Pro Tools Session.

ok thanks alot i got the file open into pro tools and it creates a track for each the redrum, nn-xt, subtractor, etc. now how do i set it so i can control the levels of all of them? i have 1 instrument track and the midi file i imported from reason to pro tools and they only play out of the instrument track. how can i set it so i can control the level of each one individually?

You'd create an individual Instrument track for each respective Reason Module, that is to say, instantiate Reason in each Instrument track and assign ReWire to those modules as they correspond to the Inputs of the Reason Hardware Interface.

You can create in Reason, just export an SMF for that particular module to mix in Pro Tools and since the performance is still in MIDI form, you can edit until your hearts content.

...and your welcome.
