Multi Client drivers
So, the new MBox units are advertising that the drivers are multi-client so that we can run PT/iTunes/Reason etc. simultaneously.
A couple of months ago (I think it was with the release of 8.0.4) the Windows guys were reporting that the 002/003 was now multi-client capable. At the time, I asked if this was the same on OS X as I tried to run multiple apps through my 002 & 003 but couldn't if PT was open. I got no response. Sooooo.... can anyone (AVID employees perhaps) shed some light on this? Is it possible to have this functionality on OS X with the current FW interfaces? |

Re: Multi Client drivers
Not yet, but supposedly they are re-writing the drivers for the 002/003 series and will have this functionality eventually down the line.
