Default 2021 strange Pan issue on Instrument track
Hi I just find something strange with instrument track is going on !

When I rec ready Instrument track midi Pan goes right and stays there?

Does somebody recognized this Bug jet?

I checked with two keyboards ( that worked in 2020.12 normaly)

Without any controllers attached , just blank session with Mini grand and
when I rec enable track some Dark Foece move my Pan to the right !

I wander Who is checking Avid software before the Final release ?

T clarify ..... Are you finding this with (what sounds like a mono instrument track) , stereo, or both ?

Can you post a screen shot ?

Hmmm, I just tested here with a stereo instrument track, a mono instrument track and a midi track. I put all 3 in Record and all the PAN controls did not move. That leaves only 2 things in my mind; #1-somehow you have written pan automation. Or #2-its time to trash prefs(always worth trying for any "odd" behavior).

Hi Albee - thanks for checking.
No Automation - new track. And I must have deleted prefs at leat a dozen times for various reasons since first seeing this :). My issue is with Kontak 5, so I will upgrade that and see if it still happens. It could be that some synchronization midi affects it, but not been able to trace that

I checked on stereo instrument track not on mono.
just record enable track and play something no need to record really.

I will send some pictures when go back to studio....

How are you seeing the MIDI pan go right? Are you watching the pan numbers/controls on the track? Or do you hear it? Using a stereo instrument on a stereo track right?
