Startup hangs on structure le

I know digidesign is aware of this issue, and they have a sticky blaming it on ie8 and promising to look into it. I ask that they put a bit more priority on resolving this issue. I uninstalled ie8 and pt startup still hangs when it gets to structure le--in any case, pro tools should not be vulnerable to a web browser.

I have also seen posts attributing this to missing ilok, but I am not aware of the structure le product requiring ilok. Certainly nothing else in my pt8 le installation does, and that is a wonderful thing about my le. My laptop only has three usb, one gets used for the mbox, one for the wireless mouse, and that leaves one for everything else. Glad to to not plug it with an ilok.

Structure Free does not require iLok, as it is a free product.

Structure LE does, as it requires a purchase. Even the demo for Structure LE requires an iLok.

Ok, I looked at the product info a bit, and I have the structure free that came with pro tools 8. No ilok issue here, it just gets into startup and hangs. I am interested in checking out the various libraries that came with 8, and would like avid to resolve this startup issue.
