MBOX pop/click/thud
More "thud" than anything
Simply opening protools makes a randomly timed "thud/pop" come through my headphones. Every so often there is a hiss/pop/click (all one sound) as well, but the thud is far more frequent...and thus my current focus. Ive read all I could find on similer problems people have posted on these boards, but found nothing definate. Im using XP SP1 (it was installed that way), Firmware 20, USB port on its own IRQ, Tried 2 different cables, and its a Pentium-M based laptop. Anyone have any ideas? |

Re: MBOX pop/click/thud
Adding another...
In rewire with the full reason 2.5 there is a very precisly timed click behind any audio coming through. It sounds like a click with a delay on it, but there is no such thing... ...again, ideas? EDIT: Standalone reason does the same thing when using the ASIO driver. EDIT2: Hell, ANY software using the Mbox as an output (including protools) has a constant click in the backround, very rythmically timed. Almost like a metronome. |
