Keep going until either you have found a rogue plugin or - as has been the case for me more than once - EVERYTHING is back and PT is happy, with no explanation as to why it was ever grumpy.
Just to update those with similar issue:

Doing this did let PT open, but I am not having to add back the plugins to find what is causing it (2023.9) I've got some projects to complete before I switch back to 2024 at this point.

Thank you all!

I had this on 5 plugins 2 were NugenAudio and PSPaudioware plugins. I just linked them to my ilok. I have to check and make sure it did not use additional licenses, but pretty sure it just had to link them again for some reason.

All good now I think for now.

Yep, no issues here either. I think it's great not to have to click through a licensing prompt for each plugin.

Indeed! I blew through like 645 plugins in a very short time.

Regarding MacOS Sonoma, Apple just released 14.4 yesterday. Is that compatible with PT 2024.3?

I was told to wait a bit. I am still on Ventura and did the released security update. HOWEVER, I am on doing a lot of ATMOS projects coming up and no rush to update even to Sonoma right now. I do have several composer colleagues that are working with Sonoma on their Mac Studio Ultra's and they texted me yesterday and said it's VERY stable and working fine for scoring with picture and had updated to the newest PT 2024.3 and OS In Sonoma yesterday.

Working great here.. Really nice being able to use Reasons player devices directly on the Instrument track. Glad to see PT getting some midi love.

With that said, still can't believe we dont have curved automation. And opening up clip effects for the first time (never have needed it) im quite surprised not to see a gain meter in the compressor.

This disappeared for me as well. Is there by chance a DLL or an XML file from a previous Pro Tools install that we can just copy into to certain folder for Pro Tools 2024.3?
