Default Not Recording

Hello, I'm just after installing pro tools 8 le and I've a strage problem, im pluging a guitar into the mbox 2, it been picked up no problems there but when i go to record it starts recording i can hear what im playing and its coming up on the track, but it not recording it, the car is moving and all for recording, any ideas?
