Regarding MBOX 3 PRO updates , conflicting info given ?

Hi Guys,

Regarding the apparent MBOX 3 PRO Driver updates , mentioned in the latest AVID TECHNICAL ALERTS bulletin in the DUC. I am getting conflicting information from 2 different AVID update pages

The DUC TECHNICAL ALERTS Bulletin states there are Driver updates available, and gives this link for MBOX 3 ;http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/d...d/Mbox-Drivers

In this link MBOX 3 PRO is mentioned.
It states in the given link ..., "The 3rd generation Mbox Family products (Mbox Mini, Mbox, Mbox Pro) "

..., and gives this Driver update 'version 1.2.9 Release date - May 12, 2016 ' ...., also on the same link .

But If I click check updates on my MBox Pro (desktop view) ..., I am taken to this different page link ; http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/D...ox-Pro-Drivers ..., and it is showing no updates since 2014 ? (ie; driver version 1.3.2)

Are there updates available for the MBOX3 PRO Or Not ???

I don't see anywhere that the "Pro" is mentioned in the Tech Alert. The Pro is firewire, the Mbox mini 3 and Mbox3 are both USB, so it would be completely separate drivers.

Hi Joel , The given link was misleading , as it does actually mention Mbox3PRO

Maybe someone from AVID can hopefully amend this typo .

Exactly, hence the confusion; it lumps them all together into the MBox Family.
The page it links to, it's first line says:

"The 3rd generation Mbox Family products (Mbox Mini, Mbox, Mbox Pro) were announced on September 14, 2010."
