Cheap Notebook

Just thought I'd let you guys know I picked up a cheap Dell notebook and am running PTLE on it.
It is a Dell Inspiron 1100 (2GHz) with a Maxtor 1394 Cardbus Card, 512MB, 80GB HD, DVD/CD-RW combo drive. I've had no problems w/ recording or playback or running Reason plugs so far. Anyway, I just started using it so I'll let you guys know if it blows up but for now it looks like a good/cheap solution. You should be able to pick this config up for under $1500.00.

Can you do the DaveC Test on it?
tell us the details....Digi 001 or 002R,performance with your internal drive,etc.
Make sure to do it at H/W buffer setting : 128
and at 24/44.1 [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
