Default how to export as stems???

Hi,
I have 5 instrument tracks setup in pro tool 11 that I would like to export so my friend can mess around with them in ableton. How do I go about exporting them as individual audio tracks???

Solo the track then right click on the tracks' output assignment and choose bounce. Repeat for each track.

You can bounce them all at the same time if you set the output of each stem to different busses - just add a Bounce Source for each bus in the Bounce dialog window. If you like to be able to bounce that way, you can set up an aux track for each stem so you can hear them while you're working on them without having to change the outputs of the stems whenever you want to bounce them.

HD only of course. I was operating on the assumption they were talking regular PT.

What about ? :
5 new audio tracks,
first new track name "ReRec Inst 1" (no input, output to main)
Inst 1 track : output to track "ReRec Inst 1",
second new track name "ReRec Inst 2" (no input, output to main)
Inst 2 track : output to track "ReRec Inst 2",
and so on
record enable all new tracks, record to tracks

Reverb/Delay maybe to a sixth new audio track

You are talking about TRACKS, not STEMS. Stems is a specific term which doesn't apply to your situation.
